2017 customer donations to Cornwall Air Ambulance

Everyone at The Cornish Oven would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers who donated an amazing £1,798 to Cornwall Air Ambulance in 2017. Your kind donations were collected during our charity events and via the donation jars located in our shops and on our delivery vans.

It was lovely recently to receive an update and donations certificate from the Fund Raising Officer at Cornwall Air Ambulance, who wished us to pass on their thanks to all our staff and customers who have helped make a difference. Steph Preston-Evans from the fund raising team wrote ‘None of the missions flown by the air ambulance would be possible without the support of businesses like yours. Your support via donations is vital in helping ensure the crew can provide the best treatment possible to people in their moment of need. Thank you again for everything you do to keep Cornwall’s air ambulance helicopter flying’.

The Cornish Oven continues to support Cornwall Air Ambulance (CAA) in 2018 and with our customers continued support, we are making a difference to those who rely on this vital service.

The Cornwall Air Ambulance are currently running an appeal to raise £2.5m to bring a next generation Air Ambulance to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly by 1st April 2020. This new helicopter would be more medically advanced, faster and better equipped and would save more time and lives for the next 20 years.

More information about the new CAA heli appeal mission and how to donate can be found here:

Thank you again to all our customers from everyone at The Cornish Oven.
